SquareLocator, a discovery platform for the Squarespace ecosystem, was launched last month. The platform aims to reduce the noise of traditional search by offering a curated list of Squarespace tools, templates, plugins, and specialist services, making it easier for designers, developers, and creators to find the trusted tools they need to build great websites.

In a press release shared with TechRadar Pro, SquareLocator highlights the issues surrounding Squarespace users having to navigate thousands of Google results, social media recommendations, and fragmented community forums.

“I realized I wasn’t searching for more options,” says Miles Noble, Founder of SquareLocator. “I was searching for better recommendations”.

Giving independent creators a platform

The problem for agencies, developers, and DIY Squarespace users is finding the right tools for the job. So, for the developers of those tools, getting discovered and monetizing their skill and hard work is one of their biggest challenges. This is the gap SquareLocator promises to help close.
